Please kindly be aware that the Thai Baht has strengthened against the US Dollar by 25% over the past 2 months, which means Asia World can no longer maintain a fixed internal USD exchange rate. The current official exchange rate today from the Bank of Thailand is USD 1 = Thai Baht 29.4.

As such we have decided to quote all future Thailand hotel and ground services rates in Thai Baht, but will show a live ‘Bank of Thailand’ exchange rate update on the front page of our Asia World website www.asiaworld-travel.com

It will also be impossible to honour previously submitted quotations provided in USD and so we will be forced to re-quote in Thai Baht.

We do hope that you can understand our position with the constantly strengthening Thai Baht and that we are unable to absorb currency fluctuations with the small margins we operate under in Thailand.
